DISCOVER THE WORLD WITH ME

Hey, I’m Jane! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

After seven years of being asked “how do you get to travel full time?” and “do you actually have a job?”, I’m proud to bring you Life in the Fast Jane: an answer to these questions and a whole lot more.

This website is a travel blog where I share my experience from more than half a decade as a digital nomad and it also houses my professional portfolio (if you really were curious about the job stuff).

Today, I’m living in Paris as a “retired” digital nomad. But before settling here, I spent:

8 months working for a wine company in Shanghai
A year backpacking around Southeast Asia
Two and a half years living in a campervan in New Zealand
Nearly a year in the mountains of Morocco
A whole lot of time in a whole lot of places in between

With dozens of countries under my belt and a love for those nitty gritty local experiences discovered through slow travel, I use this website to share advice and stories about it all.

Even though I’ve finally put down some roots in Paris, that doesn’t mean my travel days are finished. Far from it. In fact, I’m only getting started.

Whether you’re seeking genuine travel advice, following along on my adventures, or are looking for a digital unicorn for your next online project, I’m happy you’re here.
