I’ve lived in Paris for nearly three years, and whenever my friends come to visit, they always ask the same question: what’s the best hotel with an Eiffel Tower view? And you know what, I get it. I really do. If you’re travelling to one of the most iconic cities in the world, why wouldn’t you want a view of its beloved landmark from your room?
After months of asking locals and every regular visitor I know, heaps of my own research, and a lot of walking around to clock which hotels actually had the best views, I pulled together this list of 19 properties to cover a spread of budgets, neighborhoods, and travel styles for anyone else who might be looking. And as always, you’ll find local recommendations throughout to help build your perfect trip to Paris.
Quick Note: I think what most people don’t realize when visiting Paris for the first time is that the Eiffel Tower is on the fringe of the city center. Staying right next to it means you’ll have it outside of your window, but might be further from some of the other places you want to visit. Some of the best hotels on this list are centrally located, with sprawling views over the city where the Eiffel Tower is sitting against the skyline rather than right next door (I actually prefer this view, personally!).
Best Hotels With an Eiffel Tower View in Paris
Hôtel Plaza Athénée
5 stars | 15th arrondissement
In terms of hotels with an Eiffel Tower view, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything better than Plaza Athénée. Well loved by celebrities and influencers, this luxurious property has probably been all over your Instagram feed, with guest rooms surrounding a lush central courtyard. Featuring a mix of classic rooms and suites, there are three Eiffel Suites to choose from, each with a sprawling view of the tower and a balcony to enjoy it from. They sleep between two to three guests, and the Haute Couture room selection even has a full sized grand piano. Yeah, it’s that over the top.
Amenities include a Michelin star restaurant and a Dior spa, plus two terraces to enjoy a meal – one even becomes a skating rink during winter! You’ll also be tended to by the most attentive staff, with your every Parisian wish catered to on the spot. It’s a great place to stay if you only have one day in Paris and want to ball out.
Hotel Plaza Athénée has a perfect location, right next to the Champs-Élysées and the Grand Palais, making it ideal for exploring the posh parts of Paris. If you want a hotel with an Eiffel Tower view and don’t mind the splurge, this is definitely the place to book.

Timhotel Montmarte
3 stars | 18th arrondissement
Equally touristy but way more charming (in my opinion), this hotel with an Eiffel Tower view is located in Montmartre just next to the Sacre Coeur. There are a couple of rooms with a balcony and view of the Eiffel Tower, and the benefit of being in Montmartre is you’re up on a hill, so you get the entire city, too.
Prices are generally reasonable, and though Timhotel doesn’t have a ton of frills, you can still expect a daily Paris breakfast, kind staff, and a calm location with easy access to all that the area has to offer.
P.S. If you don’t score an Eiffel Tower room, this hotel also has incredible views of Sacre Coeur from the other rooms.
Hotel Le Walt
4 stars | 7th arrondissement
This is another top option for Eiffel Tower hotels on the Champs de Mars. Skip the ground floor patio room and instead request a high floor with an Eiffel Tower view to make sure you can see the tower. I love that all the rooms have a giant piece of art behind the bed – the marble bathrooms are a nice touch, too.
Hotel Le Walt is pet friendly (for a modest fee), and has a common terrace where you can lounge around and enjoy a drink. The staff are extra helpful with a 24 hour concierge on call, though I must admit, it’s a bit on the pricer side, especially given the lack of amenities compared to Eiffel Tower hotels in a similar price range.

Hotel Duquesne Eiffel
4 stars | 7th arrondissement
Hotel Dunquesne was just renovated and is definitely one of the best hotels with an Eiffel Tower view. Rooms are quite small but have a real wow factor, with an upscale, glamorous feel. There are a handful of Eiffel Tower rooms, some of which allow you to soak in the view right from bed. Choose one with a balcony for the best view!
While there’s no on site restaurant, there’s a delicious daily breakfast, and the hotel is located in a great walkable area, surrounded by tons of options (have lunch at Au Pied de Fouet on Rue Babylon). It’s also well connected by metro if you want to go further afield and explore Paris off the beaten path. And when it’s time to chill, kick back in the property’s spa – though book it ahead of time.
Le Parisis
4 stars | 15th arrondissement
If you’re looking for a more modern hotel with an Eiffel Tower view, Le Parisis has kind of a corporate look to it, which I feel like some people are into when traveling. But just because it’s a bit … I dunno, stark … doesn’t mean that it falls short. In fact, Le Parisis exceeds expectations in almost every area with incredibly attentive staff and close attention to detail.
There are a few options for Eiffel Tower rooms, though the ones on the highest floors have the best views, which you can specifically choose when booking. Rooms are small, but hey, that’s Paris for ya, and most of them still have a little sitting area where you can enjoy the view.
On site, you’ll find a cocktail bar, a small health suite with a gym and sauna, and underground parking. It’s located in a lively part of the 15th arrondissement, a couple of blocks from one of my favorite Italian places, Fratelli Castellano. When it’s time for your Eiffel Tower picnic, swing through nearby MaisonMozza for goodies to bring with you.
Terrass” Hotel
4 stars | 18th arrondissement
This boutique hotel in Montmartre has a handful of stylish guest rooms with an Eiffel Tower view. Because it’s set in a 19th-century building, the rooms are a decent size rather than the shoeboxes you’ll find at most Paris hotels, with modern decor, thoughtful details, and luxury toiletries.
If you don’t end up snagging an Eiffel Tower room, you can enjoy the same view from the rooftop bar or restaurant terrace while soaking in a full vista of the city. It’s in the best Montmartre location, steps from incredible dining, culture, and beautiful streets to explore.
Hotel Muguet
3 stars | 7th arrondissement
Hotel Muguet is not a luxury property, but it’s thoughtfully run and well maintained with Eiffel Tower views from the top floors, which at this price point (espeically in this area) is a huge score. When booking, be sure to select the Prestige Room to lock in your Eiffel Tower views, or if you’re open to other landmarks, select the Romantic Invalides room with a view over the golden dome.
A stone’s throw from Rue Cler and sitting right next to the Army Museum, Hotel Muguet is stellar for couples looking for a romantic hotel with an Eiffel Tower view, minus the full five star price tag.
Eiffel Yard Hotel
4 stars | 7th arrondissement
Eiffel Yard is one of the best hotels with an Eiffel Tower view on the lower end of the price spectrum. It also has one of the best locations on this list. Located on the corner of the Champs de Mars, you get easy access to the best picnic spots with a view, Invalids, the Seine, Bon Marche (and La Grande Epicierie), and the Rodin Museum. An ideal area for sightseeing, culture, and plenty of shopping, all of Paris is at the doorstep of the Eiffel Yard Hotel.
There are a range of Eiffel Tower rooms, and unlike most hotels, they aren’t suites, making them way more accessible if you don’t want to drop a grand a night. Some of the Eiffel Tower rooms even have balconies where you can have your morning coffee with a view.
The Eiffel Yard hotel is a newer property, so it won’t feel as dated as most options in a similar price range. It has modern decor, kind staff, and a delicious daily breakfast to fuel you for a day of exploring.
La Clef Tour Eiffel
5 stars | 16th arrondissement
The Eiffel Tower Suite at La Clef is double the size of my Paris flat, with a living room, lounge, six person dining area with a full kitchen, plus a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. It sleeps up to six guests, which at around a €2,000 nightly rate comes out to around €300 per person, which is actually an incredible deal considering the caliber of this luxury hotel.
Aside from the up close and personal views of the Eiffel Tower (it truly doesn’t get better than this), La Clef has amenities up the wazoo, like a Turkish bath, on site gym, gardens, a bar, and of course, the most attentive staff. The property offers a mix of suites and various sized apartments, making it a prime choice for group or family stays.
Sitting right next to Trocadero, you’re walking distance to the Champs Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and the city’s modern art museum. In terms of dining, La Clef serves a delicious daily breakfast, but you’ll also be steps from Paris’ most sought after addresses like Girafe and Carette. The 16th arrondissement can feel a bit sleepy, but this hotel with an Eiffel Tower is in a buzzier area of the district.
Travel Tip: Skip the line at the airport kiosk and download an affordable eSIM from Airalo, which allows you to choose your optimal data amounts and top up instantly from your phone. It’s super convenient, espeically if you download your eSIM before your trip so that you have data as soon as you land in Paris. Click here to learn more about eSIMs for Paris.
Hôtel Le Derby Alma
4 stars | 7th arrondissement
I love a little boutique hotel, and Le Derby Alma hits the mark. It’s a cute stay in the 7th arrondissement between the Champ de Mars and the Seine, perfect for couples exploring Paris. There are a handful of rooms with Eiffel Tower views, so be sure to request one when booking.
The entire property is elegant and chic, with modern rooms and a cozy lobby with a contemporary bar. There aren’t a ton of amenities beyond breakfast, but you really don’t need much with all of Paris on your doorstep.
Cler Hotel
3 stars | 7th arrondissement
I really like the Cler Hotel for a few reasons. First off, it’s in a great location on one of my favorite streets in Paris. Rue Cler is a charming pedestrian street lined with fruit and veggie stalls, fishmongers, cheese shops, cafes, bakeries, and restaurant terraces. It’s a perfect look at true Parisian life while still keeping you close to all of the city’s hot spots.
Second, you can score a double room with an Eiffel Tower view without selling a kidney. It’s still a few hundred euros, but wildly more affordable than some of the luxury hotels in the area. These rooms sell out fast, especially during summer, so book well in advance.
I must admit, it’s not a full frontal Eiffel Tower view that you get at some fancier properties, but if you select a tower view room, you’ll get to see her peeking up over the roofs of Paris. Cler Hotel is small, and the rooms are Paris sized (compact), but for affordable hotels with an Eiffel Tower view in the heart of the city, it’s hard to fault this place. You’re a ten minute walk from the tower and surrounded by actual neighborhood life rather than tourist shops.
Elysées Union
3 stars | 16th arrondissement
I really like this Eiffel Tower hotel for its location. Instead of sitting next to the tower, Elysées Union is on the right bank in between Trocadero and the Arc de Triomphe, putting it in a central, bustling area away from the main tourist crowds. While most of the best hotels with Eiffel Tower views are in the 15th or 7th arrondissements, I almost prefer this location, especially because it’s really well connected by Metro to the rest of the city.
For an Eiffel Tower view, book a deluxe double room on the upper floors, where you can soak in the view from the balcony. Around €350 per night, you just can’t beat Elysées Union, especially given the quality of the rooms and the wonderful staff.
If you don’t care much about the view, this hotel is great for families and groups with triple and quadruple rooms, plus two bedroom apartments that sleep up to five.
Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel
4 stars | 15th arrondissement
The Pullman has a few locations in Paris, and the one near the Eiffel Tower is dubbed a “design hotel” with contemporary guest rooms and suites boasting views of the beloved landmark. Given the number of rooms and proximity to the Eiffel Tower, there are a large selection of rooms with a view (unlike most Eiffel Tower hotels with a handful of view rooms at best). Just make sure you select the Eiffel Tower view when booking, otherwise you’ll be stuck on the opposite side of the building with a garden view.
If you’re celebrating a special occasion, the Penthouse is perfect for honeymoons, birthdays, or anniversaries. The deluxe rooms are also a great find, sleeping up to five and becoming a surprisingly economical option if you split the cost between friends.
The property itself is stunning, with an excellent on site restaurant serving seasonal cuisine, a super chic cocktail bar, a terrace lounge with weekend DJ sets, and best of all, a rooftop with some of the best Eiffel Tower views you can get in Paris. There’s also a business center and event space.
Hyatt Regency Etoile
4 stars | 17th arrondissement
Anyone who’s a fan of creature comforts while traveling will love a stay at the Hyatt Regency Etoile in Paris. While it’s in a way quieter area of the city, right on the fringe by the Peripherique (the highway surrounding the city, lovingly dubbed the Periph), it’s a peaceful stay close to the Champs Élysées. Yeah, it’s a bit further out, but the views of the Eiffel Tower from here are genuinely remarkable, especially considering the hotel is the third highest building in Paris.
I honestly really love staying at Hyatts because I just feel like they do the simple stuff right: spotless guest rooms, impeccable staff, and plenty of amenities. There are a large number of rooms with Eiffel Tower views, and some come with Regency Club access, where you can enjoy drinking and dining perks on the top floor of the hotel with incredible vistas over the city.
If you don’t opt for Club access, fear not, since the Hyatt is also home to the Windo Skybar, the highest bar in Paris to enjoy a drink with a view. The restaurant on the ground floor serves food all day and there’s a modest fitness center.
It’s a perfect stay for the Arc de Triomphe, shows at Palais de Congress (eat at Monsieur Maillot), and accessing areas like La Defense and Bologne (Albert-Kahn Museum and Garden is worth the visit if you’re nearby). And given that it was renovated in the last ten years, you can have high expectations for the look and feel of this property.
Le Damantin Hotel & Spa
5 stars | 8th arrondissement
Le Damantin has indisputibly one of the best Eiffel Tower views you’ll get from any hotel in Paris… and a pricetag to match, especially if you book a room with a balcony. In the 8th arrondissement on the banks of the Seine, there are a mix of standard guest rooms and themed suites, all with intricate designs, lush furnishings, and bathtubs.
This hotel doesn’t skimp on the amenities, with a pool, sauna, and wellness center, plus an attentive and caring team of staff whose sole purpose is to make your every desire come true. There’s a devoted fan of loyalists who refuse to stay anywhere else in Paris, and after one night here, you’ll easily understand why.
Mercure Tour Eiffel
4 stars | 15th arrondissement
I feel like Mercures around the world are pretty corny, but at least this one has an Eiffel Tower view. It’s a reliable mid-range option that puts you right next to the tower with unobstructed views from higher floors. It’s one of the better value options for Eiffel Tower view hotels in Paris if you don’t expect to be pampered.
Rooms are a decent size by Paris standards, and there’s a bar and restaurant on site for when you want a quiet evening in. I’ve stayed at a lot of Mercure properties, and one thing I really credit them on is well managed efficiency without any surprises. The hotel is maintained, and you have a choice between twin and double rooms, making it an ideal choice for families or friends traveling together. If you want something predictable and solid over characterful and cramped, I’d stay here, especially given it’s as close to the Eiffel Tower as you can be.
Honorable Mentions
Hôtel Fouquet’s – Amazing option if you have a cushy 10k lying around for the Paris Suite, which includes a terrace with Eiffel Tower view, in room jacuzzi, full sized living and dining areas, and a massive bedroom. The property also has a spa, hammam, restaurants, and bars with guest rooms designed by Jacques Garcia and a sister property in Cannes.
Hotel De Castiglione – Hotel De Castiglione has the most central location of any property on the list, in the 8th arrondissement on an upscale shopping street, between Concorde and Opera Garnier. It’s a reasonable size with nearly 100 rooms and suites, several of which feature an Eiffel Tower view.
Hôtel Le Relais Saint Charles – Great location next to public transportation with friendly staff. Rooms are pretty tiny but have a decent Eiffel Tower view at mid range price point.
